This Policy applies to information processed in connection with stackstrategist.com and related editorial operations. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. If you disagree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the Site.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
When you use our contact form, you may submit name, work email, optional company name, and message content. We process that data to respond to partner, editorial, and evaluation inquiries. We do not require an account to browse public pages.
2.2 Automatically collected information
Like most websites, we may receive standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP. This information supports security, performance, and analytics described below.
3. Google Analytics and Search Console
We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (for example, which comparison pages are visited most often) and Google Search Consoleto monitor search indexing, query performance, and technical SEO health. These services may process pseudonymous identifiers and usage metrics under Google's terms and privacy policies. We use analytics for product improvement and content planning—not to sell personal profiles.
Where required by law or platform configuration, we honor applicable consent or opt-out mechanisms for non-essential measurement. You may also use browser controls or Google's advertised opt-out tools where available.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:
- Operate core Site functions and remember preference signals
- Measure traffic and engagement via analytics (when enabled)
- Support security and abuse prevention on forms and outbound redirects

5. Contact Form Processing (Resend)
Contact form submissions are handled by a Next.js Server Action on our infrastructure. Message delivery uses Resend, a transactional email provider. Form fields are validated and sanitized on the server before transmission. The Resend API key is stored as a server-only environment variable and is never exposed to the browser.
Submitted content is sent to editorial@stackstrategist.com for human review. We retain inquiry correspondence as needed to respond to your request, maintain partner records, and meet legal or compliance obligations, then delete or archive it according to our internal retention practices.

7. How We Protect Data — We Do Not Sell Personal Information
We apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a content publishing site, including HTTPS, server-side form validation, honeypot anti-spam controls, and restricted access to production secrets. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to reduce risk and respond promptly to issues we become aware of.
We do not sell personal information to data brokers or third parties. We do not rent email lists. Limited sharing occurs only with processors that help us operate the Site (for example, hosting on Vercel, email delivery via Resend, and analytics/search tooling from Google), under contractual or platform terms that restrict use of the data for providing those services.
Affiliate networks and software vendors may receive attribution data when you click partner links and convert on their sites. That activity is governed by those parties' own privacy policies.
8. International Visitors
The Site is operated with a primary audience of business users. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms offered by those providers.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact editorial@stackstrategist.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also unsubscribe from any future marketing email we send (we do not currently operate a promotional newsletter by default).
10. Children
The Site is directed to business professionals and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
